Thinkers is an innovative iOS application designed for creative minds and professionals who need a powerful yet intuitive digital notebook experience. The app seamlessly blends the familiarity of physical notebooks with advanced digital capabilities, offering features that go far beyond traditional note-taking tools.

The Challenge

The design challenge was to create an experience that was both powerful and easy to use, ensuring users could effortlessly capture all kinds of media, organize, and access their ideas. The previous version had limited functionality and a confusing interface. 79% of users indicated a need for a balanced approach that offered power without complexity.

The Solution

I created a complete redesign with extended functionality, focusing on an intuitive folder structure that users could easily navigate. The design process involved 22 iterations of wireframes, 8 rounds of user testing with 50+ participants, and extensive prototyping. I created high-fidelity visual designs of more than 100 different views and states, ensuring every interaction was carefully considered.

The Impact

The entire notes capture process is enhanced by extensive machine learning capabilities. Images are automatically tagged, scanned documents are transcribed, and audio and video recordings are processed for easy searching and organization. The app provides a comprehensive commenting system and intuitive onboarding experience that helps users understand the full potential of the platform.
