I led the redesign of both the desktop web editor and mobile apps, transforming complex video editing into intuitive, accessible experiences built for speed, clarity, and creative control across all devices.

The Challenge

For many small businesses, creating marketing videos felt out of reach — too complex, time-consuming, or expensive. The desktop editor had usability issues with text editing controls and confusing navigation, while mobile video creation was virtually non-existent. The challenge was reimagining video editing for everyday business owners, making it fast and intuitive across both desktop and mobile platforms.

The Solution

I redesigned the desktop editor with clean top and side toolbars, intuitive text editing controls, and streamlined navigation. For mobile, I led the design of both iOS and Android apps featuring real-time preview technology, edge-to-edge template feeds, and carousel-based music libraries. The solution included engaging progress indicators, seamless social media sharing, and Getty Images integration with 275M+ professional assets.
